M just sent me a delightful email letting me know it was National Penis day in Japan. Attached were some very bizarre pictures of their festival, but below are my two favorites.
Further research revealed that September 4th in New Zealand is in fact "National Penis Day" there... Heaps of guys in each of the main cities go to a public place, get naked and stand in a formation so as to form a giant penis. Really? Who's up for an Aussie back to school vacay?
And to cap it all off... this wonderful article was in the BBC today.
An 18-year-old has secretly painted a 60ft drawing of a phallus on the roof of his parents' £1million mansion in Berkshire. It was there for a year before his parents found out. They say he'll have to scrub it off when he gets back from travelling.
